We aim to provide appropriate robotics and AI solutions to achieve greater impact and improve people’s lives.

We are a Peruvian robotics knowledge hub that deploys emerging technologies to shift positive systemic change, creating meaningful and sustainable solutions. Our work focuses on transformative impacts in Peru. We achieve this by training local talents to take on robotics and GIS jobs and partnering with local and international stakeholders to build the local drone ecosystem.

Services

We coordinate and manage projects that address challenges faced in humanitarian aid, conservation, education, and health. Some of the initiatives we have participated in are cargo delivery of medicines in the Amazon, surveillance of deforested areas, crowd monitoring projects during the COVID-19 pandemic, camelid accounting, and classification in the Andes.

Local Capacity Building

We increase development efforts by introducing professionals and interested communities to the versatile use of drones and data.

Knowledge Exchange

We encourage and participate in the exchange of knowledge between Flying Labs to share our learnings and experiences in our region and globally.

Ecosystem Building & Facilitation

We support local stakeholders in using drones, data processing, and data analytics, integrating Artificial Intelligence with adequate solutions for disaster risk management, conservation, and health. Our key goal is to allow them to make informed decisions with suitable data solutions and provide suitable medical cargo solutions.

Sector Applications & Projects

Our team works with diverse professionals to develop and advance practical, innovative efforts in Peru and the Latin American region. We contribute to the local and regional ecosystem through training, conference participation, joint projects, and collaboration with global and local partners.

Advocacy & Policy Support

We actively contribute to the safe & responsible deployment of drones. We do this through discussions with and support of our local Civil Aviation Authorities and the Ministry of Transportation to develop a practical and inclusive drone regulation framework that meets international safety standards.

Youth/STEM Programs

Our STEM/Youth training initiatives aim to catalyze STEM adoption by students and professionals to boost the drone ecosystem in Peru. We also convene diverse skill sets to spur new and innovative solutions and encourage students to learn about how they can explore career opportunities around emerging technologies.
