The Flying Labs Network is built on a social franchise model, with one franchise license per country. The Network is co-created and facilitated by WeRobotics, who also co-designed and keeps on improving the social franchise model behind the Network. The geographic focus of the Network is on Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia-Pacific.

1. Who

Existing local non-profit, for-profit and/or academic institutions can be license holders for a local Flying Labs. While one local organization will hold the license, our experience shows that the strongest Flying Labs are made up of a consortium of local partners including ideally various types of organizations (commercial, civil society, academic and research partners).
