Morocco Flying Labs harnesses drones and mapping programs to address challenges in our communities. Our initiatives include training university students in drone operation and data processing, conducting land surveys, and providing hands-on drone training for children. We aim to foster community engagement and promote data-driven decision-making, paving the way for innovative AI projects that benefit society.

Services

We offer comprehensive drone training, data analysis, and project consulting services. We collaborate with schools and universities to empower communities with cutting-edge technology, enhancing skills and knowledge in drone operations and applications.

Local Capacity Building

We partner with universities, NGOs, and government bodies to conduct workshops on drone operation, mapping, and data analysis. For example, our partnership with universities has led to a series of workshops that trained over 200 students and professionals in drone technology.

Knowledge Exchange

We facilitate knowledge sharing by collaborating with global partners and hosting conferences and webinars. One key initiative is our annual "Drone for Development" seminar, where we exchange best practices and innovations with Flying Labs and local stakeholders.

Sector Applications & Projects

We apply drone technology in a variety of sectors, including precision agriculture, environmental conservation, and disaster response. For instance, we recently collaborated with local farmers to optimize irrigation using aerial mapping, leading to a 15% increase in water efficiency.

Ecosystem Building & Facilitation

Morocco Flying Labs actively fosters a network of local drone enthusiasts, businesses, and regulators. We organize meetups and forums to create a collaborative ecosystem that supports innovation, entrepreneurship, and policy development around drone technology

Advocacy & Policy Support

We work closely with regulatory bodies such as the Moroccan Civil Aviation Authority to help shape drone policies that are inclusive and supportive of innovation while ensuring safety and compliance. Our work has contributed to the creation of more accessible drone licensing procedures for startups.

Youth/STEM Programs

Our youth initiatives, such as the "Drones for STEM" program, have engaged over 100 young students, teaching them drone safety, programming, and its potential applications. By partnering with schools, we aim to inspire the next generation of drone and AI innovators in Morocco.
