About

Our mission is to leverage Robotics and AI for swift decision-making in agriculture, infrastructure, and the environment, saving time and resources.

Haiti Flying Labs is a local hub for innovative solutions in emergency response, environmental management, agriculture, infrastructure, security, and youth education on drone technology. Our team comprises professionals in project management, urban planning, survey management, GIS, IT, and data science.

We advocate for drone usage in Haiti and seek to integrate drone skills into university and high school curricula, particularly in civil engineering, agronomy, and geography.

Services

Our services include assessing post-disaster damage, monitoring environmental changes, and aiding land management through land mapping.

We transport medical supplies to remote areas, offer drone operation training, monitor deforestation, identify conservation areas, and assess crop health using drones with multispectral sensors.

Our capacity-building initiatives equip local communities with drone operation skills, fostering expertise and economic opportunities.

Local Capacity Building

We prioritize capacity-building in our drone initiatives, empowering local communities to harness drone technology for their benefit. Through training programs with local organizations, seminars, and partnerships with the public and private sectors, we foster self-reliance and sustainability, ensuring long-term impact.

Knowledge Exchange

Through our workshops, we share drone best practices with our communities. We have also established online forums or communities of practice where drone operators, researchers, and policymakers can share experiences, troubleshoot challenges, and co-create solutions.

We are at the forefront of advocating for the responsible deployment of drones. From empowering smallholder farmers through precise land mapping to monitoring deforestation in the Amazon, conducting rapid damage assessments post-earthquakes, and facilitating medical supply deliveries in remote regions.
