We bring innovative drone, data, AI and Machine Learning solutions to Kenya’s humanitarian and development sectors.

We promote social good applications of drones such as rapid response, situational awareness, mapping, surveying and data analysis to provide insights into various sectors such as health, agriculture, environmental conservation, communication and infrastructure, among others. While humanitarian applications are our forte, our team is also highly skilled in offering specialized drone and drone data services for the development sector, including telecommunication, construction, and infrastructure inspections. We also support young people to learn about robotics and encourage youth to follow STEM careers through our STEM activities.

Services

Our focus areas are disaster risk management, agriculture, environment, conservation, development and planning. We provide solutions based on actual needs. Our innovative solutions include mapping drones, heavy-lift drones, seeder drones, tethered drones, airships and more.

We focus on the following main activities:

Local Capacity Building

We support organizations and individuals interested in specialized training on various use cases to improve the applications of drone technology in Kenya.

Knowledge Exchange

We conduct workshops and events that aim at creating awareness of drone technology.

Ecosystem Building & Facilitation

We co-design and implement customized projects with local partners across humanitarian (AidRobotics), health (HealthRobotics), environmental (EcoRobotics) and development (DevRobotics) sectors.

Sector Applications & Projects

We organize meetups, trainings and knowledge sharing events to foster the local drone ecosystems and create partnerships with civil aviation to promote impactful use of robotics technology.

Youth/STEM Programs

We aim to introduce young people to STEM through youth robotics programs using drones and coding, allowing youth to learn about and embrace STEM in playful and hands-on ways.

Entrepreneurship Programs

We organize events and promotional activities such as the Kenya Drone Business Competition and mentorship program for youth with the aim of introducing drones to create employment.
