New Story Map Shows Panama Flying Labs' Work on AID Robotics for Medical Supplies

The project sought to develop an unmanned surface vehicle to transport medical supplies to inaccessible communities.

This story map shows an overview of an active Panama Flying Labs project called the AID Shuttle Boat written from the perspective and experience of one of the student volunteers on the project. This project seeks to develop an unmanned surface vehicle to transport medical supplies to communities with difficult access, currently living on islands, coastal areas, or near rivers. 

The story map was written from the perspective and experience of one of the Panama Flying Labs student volunteers, Carolina Rojas. In addition to her contribution to the project, she also includes an overview of her student thesis project, aiming to simulate the vehicle in the ROS environment.
