Nepal Flying Labs Wins AUVSI XCELLENCE Humanitarian Award!

We're excited to announce that our Nepal Flying Labs has won an AUVSI XCELLENCE Humanitarian Operations Award for the important disaster risk reduction work that our Nepali team carried out with international partners Medair and Terrasense. As such, this award is very much shared with both Medair and Terrasense. Big congratulations to them both and to the outstanding Coordinator of Nepal Flying Labs, Uttam Puadasaini. The Humanitarian Operations Award comes with a $5,000 cash prize; all of which will go to Nepal Flying Labs so that they continue their important humanitarian work.

As Uttam was unable to receive the award in person at AUVSI, the Coordinator of Peru Flying Labs, Juan Bergelund, kindly received the prestigious award on behalf of Uttam and Team at Nepal Flying Labs (video of awards ceremony below). The cargo drone delivery work of Peru Flying Labs was previously featured in the AUVSI magazine. WeRobotics has additional labs in Africa, Asia, Central and South America including Tanzania, Kenya, Fiji, Panama, Dominican Republic and soon in Brazil, Philippines and Senegal.
