Simon Tembo is a geospatial and project management professional with over ten years of experience in geospatial analysis, mapping, information management, and project development, particularly in disaster response and emergency healthcare contexts. He possesses strong expertise in information management, drone piloting, spatial data analysis, and the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support humanitarian and development interventions. Simon also has experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL), supporting data-driven planning, reporting, and decision-making. He is a certified drone pilot and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Management specializing in land surveying and has extensive experience in community-based project implementation, data collection, mapping, and evidence-based programming. He is also passionate about geo-spatial emerging technologies.
