Fungai Kanjodo
IT Officer
Fungai Kanjodo is an IT Officer for Malawi Red Cross Society (MRCS), based in Lilongwe. He joined the organization in 2012 and his role involves managing daily ICT operations, maintaining computer systems, and supporting staff with technology solutions. He troubleshoots hardware and software issues, maintains networks, and improves IT efficiency in the organization. In his role, he ensures that systems run smoothly and that staff receive timely technical support. He is committed to using technology to improve productivity and service delivery.
Among his achievements, Fungai co-coordinated the Digital Divide Initiative program for Malawi Red Cross Society, through which he introduced and promoted the website, Red Cross Intranet, and improvement of the HR system. He also led the migration to Microsoft direct licensing, which improved SharePoint, OneDrive, and Cloud Server management.
Fungai is a holder of a BSc in Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich.
