Zimbabwe Flying Labs Hosts Holiday Drone Camp at Hillcrest ICT Winter Fair

The annual Hillcrest ICT Winter Fair has always been a show-stopping event in Zimbabwe’s Eastern Province. After having been grounded by the COVID-19 pandemic for two years, the winter fair was a welcomed opportunity for social interaction. 

The ICT Expo was a platform to enhance and showcase technological innovations within the ICT industry. Zimbabwe Flying Labs, hosted by Precision Aerial, participated in the ICT winter fair, where over 200 younger learners and exhibitors were in attendance.  

The Zimbabwe Flying Labs team presented to attending students, school authorities, educators, and parents the emergence of drone technology and the future of work. They emphasized the need for innovation and how drone technology can be used to work more efficiently. 

Our team showcased different drones and took young learners through an overview of our Drones in STEM education programs. Some young learners had the opportunity to fly the educational drone indoors.
