This project helped identify damaged areas by insects (pine wilt disease) in Kaga City and mitigate its impact
February 19th, 2025
Japan Flying Labs conducted a survey to identify damaged areas by insects (pine wilt disease) in a windbreak pine forest and to also assess a potential take-off and landing site in the forest for fixed-wing drone operations in future. The Orthomosaic and Point Clouds produced were handed over to the Kaga Municipal Office to mitigate potential sand damage to neighbouring communities.
