Inter-institutional Collaboration for Technological Development in the Dominican Republic

DR Flying Labs, the Drone Innovation Center, Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA), and the Cyber Park of Santo Domingo signed an important inter-institutional agreement with the goal of promoting technological development in the Dominican Republic.

Through this positive strategic alliance, various programs on unmanned aircraft management will be offered, including workshops, diplomas, and training events for ITLA students and the general public.

Among the first programs to be offered is the Professional Drone Pilot program, which will train professionals with the necessary skills to ensure safe and efficient drone operations and open up greater opportunities for the application of this technology in different industries.

The training will be offered at the Drone Innovation Center facilities, allowing students to be in a suitable learning environment and have access to a variety of drones to familiarize themselves with and operate. 

This agreement will also allow for the development of research, development, and innovation projects using drone technologies, boosting the growth of the drone industry in the Dominican Republic.

Colaboración Interinstitucional para el Desarrollo Tecnológico en la República Dominicana

DR Flying Labs, Centro de Innovación de Drones, Instituto Tecnológico de las Américas (ITLA) y Parque Cibernético Santo Domingo firmaron un importante acuerdo interinstitucional con el objetivo de impulsar el desarrollo tecnológico en la república dominicana.

A través de esta positiva alianza estratégica se estarán impartiendo diferentes programas sobre el manejo de aeronaves no tripuladas, tales como talleres, diplomados y eventos formativos dirigidos a los estudiantes del ITLA y al público general.

Dentro de los primeros programas a impartir está el de Piloto Profesional de Drones, el cual formará profesionales con las competencias necesarias para garantizar una operación segura y eficientes de los Drones y abre mayores oportunidades de aplicación de esta tecnología en las diferentes industrias.

Las capacitaciones se estarán ofreciendo en las instalaciones del Centro de Innovación de Drones, lo que permite que los estudiantes estén en un entorno de aprendizaje adecuado y que puedan tener al alcance diversos drones con los que puedan familiarizarse y operarlos.

Este acuerdo también permitirá desarrollar proyectos de investigación, desarrollo e innovación con tecnologías de drones que impulsará el crecimiento de la industria de drones en la Republica Dominicana.
