Tsitsi Grace Madhodha is a technology and innovation leader with over 20 years of experience managing multidisciplinary projects across STEM education, drone technology, media, and
digital innovation. She serves as a Director of Zimbabwe Flying Labs, where she leads programmes that leverage emerging technologies to equip young people—particularly girls and underserved communities—with future-ready skills in drones, artificial intelligence, robotics, digital storytelling, and innovation.
As Director for Strategy & Partnerships Tsitsi has designed and delivered technology programmes in partnership with schools, government institutions, development organisations, and international partners. Her work focuses on making technology accessible by using drones, robots and artificial intelligence as practical tools to inspire learning in science, engineering, environmental conservation, disaster risk reduction, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.
Beyond Zimbabwe Flying Labs, Tsitsi is the General Manager and founding member of CMedia Africa, one of Zimbabwe’s leading creative production and digital communications agencies.
Tsitsi is also the Co-founder and Producer of Short African Stories, a platform dedicated to telling authentic African stories that drive social impact and behaviour change through documentary filmmaking.
She serves on the Executive Committee of Women in Aviation Zimbabwe, where she advocates for increased participation of women and girls in aviation, aerospace, and emerging technologies. As a licensed Remote Pilot (Drone) Operator, she is passionate about using drone technology to unlock educational and economic opportunities for young Africans.
Throughout her career, Tsitsi has mentored dozens of young professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives, while contributing to initiatives that promote innovation, leadership, and digital inclusion across Southern Africa. Her work has been recognised through several national and international awards, including CEO Global’s Most Influential Women in Business & Government Award and multiple international documentary awards.
She holds a Bachelor of Media Studies from the University of Botswana and an Executive Development Programme qualification from the University of Zimbabwe. Her passion lies in empowering the next generation with the confidence, skills, and opportunities to become Africa’s future innovators and problem-solvers.
