Luis Carlos Merón

Luis Carlos Meron Jaen is an Electronics and Telecommunications
Engineering student with a strong interest in robotics, wireless
communications, high performance computing, dynamical systems,
and embedded systems. He is passionate about developing
engineering projects that integrate hardware and software, with
experience in areas such as LoRaWAN, ROS 2, CUDA, 5G network
simulation, and Internet of Things (IoT). In addition to his technical
background, Luis speaks Spanish, English, French, and German,
allowing him to collaborate in multicultural and international
environments.
As part of the Panama Flying Labs team, Luis teaches Robotics,
Drone Technology, Programming, and other STEAM-related topics to students of
different ages. Through hands-on learning experiences, he helps participants develop
problem-solving skills while introducing them to emerging technologies and engineering
principles. His work focuses on inspiring the next generation of innovators by combining
theoretical concepts with practical applications.
Beyond teaching, Luis actively develops research-oriented engineering projects and
competitions in telecommunications, robotics, control systems, mechanical engineering,
and artificial intelligence. His long-term goal is to contribute to cutting-edge
technological innovation through graduate studies and research, bridging academia and
industry to create solutions with real-world impact.
