Jorge Ángel González Ordiano
Engineer
Jorge is an engineer educated at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, where he completed both a master's and a doctorate in mechanical engineering. During his PhD, he was involved in the Helmholtz Association's Energy System 2050 project, using data science to develop probabilistic forecasting models for renewable energy generation and electrical demand.
In 2020, he joined the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City as a full-time academic in the Department of Studies in Engineering for Innovation. In 2023, Jorge was named director of the Institute of Applied Research and Technology.
