Boubacar Ahmed is a Mauritanian entrepreneur and management professional with more than 20 years of experience across a wide range of sectors, including telecommunications, engineering, mining, renewable energy, logistics, and international development. He is the Founder and CEO of DeltaNet, a Mauritanian company providing technology, engineering, and business consulting, and has played a key role in developing strategic partnerships and innovative projects in the country.
He holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications systems from Abdelmalek Essaâdi University in Morocco and has also completed advanced training in Project Management.
Throughout his career, Boubacar has held technical, senior leadership and management positions with national and international organizations, including Chinguitel, Kinross tasiast , Counterpart International, G4S, Afroport Mauritanie, and CWP Global, where he served as Country Manager for Mauritania and previously as Consultant for the AMAN Green Hydrogen Project.
His expertise spans business development, project management, operations, stakeholder engagement, human resource management, and strategic planning. Through Mauritania Flying Labs, Boubacar is committed to promoting the responsible use of drones, geospatial technologies, and innovation to support sustainable development, local capacity building, and technology-driven solutions across Mauritania.
