Drones, AI & GIS for DRM: 2026 Conference & Workshop - Caribbean & Central America Edition
Turning Data into Action: Beyond the Storm: Mapping Hope & Building Resilience, May 5-7, 2026, Montego Bay Convention Centre, Jamaica
About the Conference
The Caribbean and Central America are at the forefront of climate and disaster challenges. As hurricanes, floods, and other hazards grow more frequent and intense, the need for data-driven, localized solutions is more urgent than ever.
This 3-day regional gathering will bring together leaders from government, civil society, academia, and the private sector to explore how drones, AI, and GIS can be harnessed to:
- Strengthen national and local disaster preparedness,
- Improve early warning and emergency response systems,
- Inform infrastructure and resilience planning, and
- Build the capacity of local actors and institutions.
It’s about presenting stories from the Caribbean and Central America in a global context. It’s about learning to plan, adapt, and prepare to protect what exists—but also responding with clarity, leading with insight, and anticipating what’s next.
