Zimbabwe Flying Labs & DataCamp Bring Essential Data Science Education to Zimbabwean Youth

Zimbabwe Flying Labs recently partnered with DataCamp through the DataCamp Donates initiative. Based in New York, USA, DataCamp has designed programs to reach a global audience through its online learning platform. DataCamp programs close the data skills gap and equip users with the skills to make better data-driven decisions.

The DataCamp learning platform focuses on teaching practical skills to work with data in the real world. At a time when data science had become an important skill, Zimbabwe Flying Labs can now bring this skills development opportunity to Zimbabwe and equip learners and professionals with data skills. 

What does this partnership mean for Zimbabwe?

DataCamp will provide scholarships to selected candidates to do any of their wide range of interactive courses and projects taught by industry experts. These courses cover various topics such as Python, R, SQL, and machine learning and provide students and young professionals with the skills needed to be job ready and succeed in today's job market.

Zimbabwe Flying Labs will host in-person and online workshops to strengthen the knowledge gained on the DataCamp platform. By equipping learners with the skills to make better data-driven decisions, our goal is for technology transformation in education to prepare learners for the future of work.
