René Salomón Vargas

After many years of successful working experience in the private and public sectors, René has chosen to start his non-profit organization FTE to make a positive contribution. He is committed to the development of young people, women, and productive communities in rural areas with innovation and technology without neglecting the environmental, social, and economic aspects. He has organized countless entrepreneurship events in addition to continuously offering startup training and development programs. He has helped many people in Bolivia find a purpose-driven life. His passion for proving that profitable businesses that also help others can be built, has inspired many entrepreneurs for almost two decades. He is an agronomist and agricultural economist with a specialty in agricultural law, innovation, and entrepreneurship. As an agronomist and entrepreneur, he is a producer of flowers, fruits and vegetables and exports pineapples and exotic products. Through his foundation, he also offers free online classes to teach people to grow their own food by creating urban gardens in their homes.
