Mateus is an undergraduate student at UFABC pursuing a bachelor's degree in science and technology (BC&T) with a focus on specialization in Aerospace Engineering. He is a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) in the AESS (Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society) chapter, where he conducts research on UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and their applicability in society.
Mateus is enthusiast about open-source software solutions with an interest in clustering applications with HPC (High-Performance Cluster) linked to recycling and electronic waste management. He was an associate member of ABRHidro (Brazilian Water Resources Association) in 2019 and 2020, in addition to being a finalist for the 2021 award from the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency (ANA). Awarded at knowledge fairs for projects in renewable energy and sustainable resource management, he applies the interdisciplinarity of his knowledge to create innovative solutions.
