Youth Robotics Coordinator
MaryJane is a self-motivated aeronautical engineering graduate(aircraft manufacture and design), an alumnus of Shenyang Aerospace University, and a certified mini-drone instructor. After completing her undergraduate degree, Mary Jane went on to work as an aircraft technician, where she maintained manned fixed-wing aircraft. With an interest to join the Kenyan drone space, she enrolled in online remote pilot courses from African Drones and Data Academy to be better integrated into the industry. Mary is now a youth robotics instructor at Kenya Flying Labs and enjoys mentoring the next generation of STEM champions, more so female students in the drones and robotics industry.
