Leigh is a Geospatial analyst with an environment and urban planning background. She is a drone pilot and instructor. She is involved with local and international projects in database management, remote sensing, and web GIS development.
She sees that empowering the local community with proper technology-based solutions and local engagement are critical in implementing humanitarian efforts in the global south. She also advocates in giving women and SOGIESC (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression and Sex Characteristics) safe space for growth and development in the geospatial science community.
