Ian Mutamiri is the Research and Software Engineering Lead for Zimbabwe Flying Labs
Ian is an Engineer (BSc., MPhil) with over 10 years’ experience as a Software Engineer and Data Manager. His work spans mobile and web application design, database design, data management, including data analysis and visualization in the Health, Education, Agriculture, Finance, Energy, and Telecommunications industries.
Ian is the Co-Founder of the Purple Future Trust, a non-profit aimed at empowering underprivileged groups (women, children) using practical technology education. He sits on the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers’ ICT Division Board as the Innovation Representative. Ian is also a hobbyist music producer and pencil artist.
