Alexis Kaboré
Director
Alexis Kaboré Co-founded Corade after more than 15 years of working in the public and private sectors in Burkina Faso. He is a trained Engineer of Rural Development and holds a DEA in Environmental Sciences from FUL and the University of Liège.
Prior to founding Corade, he held the position of Advisor in climate change policy within UNDP Burkina Faso, and coordinated projects relating to the environment and Sustainable Development Goals.
His career spans over 30 years, where he has worked on several projects financed by bilateral and multilateral cooperation on behalf of Burkina Faso's public administration, private firms and UNDP in Burkina Faso and Mali. Alexis' expertise has been sought in the analysis and development of methodological strategies for community improvements in Mali, Niger, Togo, Benin Republic, Madagascar and Burkina Faso.
He has also managed United Nations projects in Burkina Faso to prepare the National Sustainable Development Report for Rio+20 and contributed to the development of the OIF guide for the integration of the SDGs into local plans.
